Our
Projects

Over the past two years, Smart Afrogrics has committed to several projects across the scopes of climate change and clean and affordable energy. This focus has led them to have an incredible track record that can only be testified by the various beneficiaries.

Climate- resilient and Regenerative  Agriculture through Asili Farm Africa

Agriculture accounts for close to 60% of GHG emissions in Kenya (World Bank) This is mainly contributed by the use of synthetic fertilizers and other conventional forms of agriculture. To overcome this, we have adopted innovative regenerational and organic type of farming that we train farmers to ensure that they are able to cut on costs of production while consequently contributing sustainably to climate action. As the back borne project of the organization, we have achieved a milestone in ensuring that we have given access to more than 5000 farmers knowledge to organic farming techniques. The holistic approach that incorporates the use of natural resources in farming has been able to achieve a fete with testimonials from various farmers Particularly Teresa that talks about his journey of moving from only 2 bags per acre to over 10 bags using our products. Carefully and scientifically, we have come up with 7 products for the farmers to help them meet their needs on the following areas, pesticides, foliar fertilizers, booster, germinators and fertilizers.

Educating the world on Sustainability

Climate change affects 8 million Kenyans (15-20%) directly, exposing them to adverse climate effects, rising temperatures, unpredictable weather patterns, and environmental degradation threatening communities. Many individuals and businesses lack awareness of carbon credit opportunities and sustainable practices that could mitigate these challenges while offering economic benefits. More than 50% of Kenya’s population lacks financial literacy, which further limits access to green financing, preventing communities from investing in climate-smart solutions. Smart Afrogrics' Carbon Credit Class initiative seeks to bridge this gap by educating communities on climate change mitigation, carbon credits, and green entrepreneurship. Through structured training sessions, participants will learn how to reduce carbon emissions, adopt sustainable practices, and leverage carbon credits as an economic incentive. By integrating financial literacy, the program will also empower participants with knowledge of green financing options, enabling them to access funds for climate-friendly initiatives.
